Mud May-Day Stain Cleaner is a complex blend of acids designed to remove red mud, tire tracks, and rust stains from concrete slabs, blocks and brick surfaces. While Mud May-Day (Red Clay Stain Remover) is effective in most cases, for the most stubborn rust stains see our product Rust Remedy Rust Stain Remover. Fume Free, does not burn or discolor concrete, and restores the original just cured surface of concrete.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Always test a small area on the surface to be treated. Use an all plastic pump up sprayer to apply Mud May-Day For difficult to remove mud and rust stains, apply full strength to the surface to be treated. Work in 3 ft. by 5 ft. sections to completely cover the surface to be treated, and use a plastic bristle brush or broom to work Mud May-Day into crevices, cracks and design work. After application, let the chemistry work for you by allowing a minimum of 10 minutes of contact. Stubborn or extremely old and set stains would take up to 30 minutes. Use a high pressure sprayer to remove the treatment, mud, rust and most stains on concrete. Use caution on new concrete as etching may occur if applied incorrectly. For stucco, vinyl or Hardiplank, use 1:10 up to 1:4 and reduce dwell time to no more than 10 minutes.
