Basic Dude Sh*t Reminder:Remember you must use tapered NPT fittings with this valve in your build, and banjo makes a few good options. If your fittings are MIP straight threaded then you will experience air-leaks because you purchased the wrong fittings. One way to know if your fittings are correct is how fast they get tight. Correct tapered NPT fittings will get tight very quickly (about 2 turns) and you will not be able to "bottom out" the fitting on the coupler.
Periodic maintenance item: Check coupler unions for tightness regularly. Loose couplers are the #1 cause of “My Valve is leaking”
Additionally SESW recommends to clean and inspect couplers and O-rings as part of a monthly preventative maintenance program. Any union style valve that has chemical running through it can occasionally develop a salt bridge at junction points, which may cause a seeping leak. This is normal and can be corrected by inspection, cleaning and applying a small amount of oil or light grease to the O-ring itself and coupler base area.
