When you book a professional pressure washing company to clean your property, you're getting their expertise in best practices to maintain the cosmetic and structural integrity of the home or building along with their expertise in chemical application. So why would they use your water?
Well, water is very very cheap at $1.50 per 1000 gallons, and most homes will only use about 500-1500 gallons of water per cleaning.
This may sound like alot, but it's really not. (Unless you live on Lake Meade.)
Many homeowners may ask the question: "Why can't they just carry water to my home in that giant tank they have on the back of their pressure washing trailer?"
Good question...Water is very cheap, but it isn't lightweight.
A gallon of water weighs about 8.3lbs, so 500 gallons is over 4000lbs, and this is too much weight to be safely driving down the interstate with.
Think carrying around a small sized truck on the back of your trailer to every job-site.
Not very economical.
If a customer desires us to use our own water, there is a minimum fee of $2 per gallon we must trailer to the job site. This includes shipping and handling fees.

Since water is so cheap from the tap, and shipping it is not, most every reasonable customer understands that this is built into the discount of the cleaning.
Because filling water and hauling water to your home for pressure washing is simply a price you do not want to pay.
