Hey wash fans! We’re out here in beautiful West Point, Georgia, just a little ways from the shop, with a cool on-site comparison that you won’t want to miss.
A Chance Encounter
I was driving down the road with my demo rig all set up when I spotted some fellow wash pros hard at work. Even though I don't know these guys personally, they're semi-local, so I figured I’d stop and say hi. What really caught my eye was their equipment setup, and they were kind enough to let me film a quick comparison for you all.
The Gear: AR45 vs. Super Pump
So, what do we have here? On their trailer, these guys are running an AR45. They’ve had great luck with it and are out here making money, so you know it’s reliable. For comparison, I’ve got the Super Pump hooked up on my demo rig.
Running the Test
I asked if we could run both pumps side by side to show you the real-time difference. We’ve got the yellow line for the AR45 and the clear line for the Super Pump. Both pumps are pretty maxed out, with the AR45 running wide open.
The Verdict
When we pulled the triggers, the results were pretty close. Honestly, I couldn’t tell much difference between the two – both were hitting about the same spot with similar force. It’s pretty impressive to see such comparable performance from two different pumps.
A Little Background
These setups haven’t been long built, and it looks like they’ve got some good stuff going on. The guys were up there with the Jenny Boom doing some work, which is always cool to see.
