The questions that matter before you wire it, plumb it and put it to work.

What size discharge hose should I use?+

Use 5/8-inch discharge hose only. Do not step down smaller if you want the pump to perform correctly.

What power does the Super 8 require?+

The Super 8 is a 24V pump. A properly configured 24V lithium or deep-cycle battery setup can be used.

Will it fit where my current 12V pump is mounted?+

The Super 8 was designed around the same general footprint as traditional 12V softwash pumps, which makes it much easier to retrofit into an existing setup.

Can I use my existing proportioner?+

Possibly, but restrictive plumbing can limit the benefit of a higher-flow pump. A higher-flow proportioner and larger plumbing path help the Super 8 reach its potential.

What is the safe operating pressure?+

The published safe operating range is 165 PSI.

Does the pump include a warranty?+

The product Q&A does not list a manufacturer warranty. Optional third-party protection may be available separately on this product page.

What size wiring does the Super 8 demand?+

Use 10-gauge or 8-gauge wire only. If you're making long runs from your batteries, use 8-gauge wire.

What kills pumps?+

Leaving bleach in the pump.
Running it dry for extended periods.
Running the pump on low voltage. Low voltage creates high amp draw and heat.
Improper plumbing on the inlet or outlet side.
