Achieve Spotless Glass with This Surfactant

...

What's up guys, Coty from Southeast Softwash here! Today, we're diving into the world of surfactants, specifically our Citrus "Southern Drawl" and Cherry "Southern Slang" varieties. We get tons of questions about our surfactant series, so we're here to showcase their incredible performance, especially on glass.

First off, let’s clear up a common misconception—while our surfactants come in cherry and lemon scents, they are definitely not for eating or drinking! They smell great, but they are designed to perform exceptionally well in your cleaning mixtures.

Why Surfactants Matter

A good surfactant must rinse cleanly off glass. While we don’t do pure water window cleaning, our surfactants perform excellently, leaving windows spotless. Today, we’re using our Illuminax Pro with a 3% bleach mixture, dialed wide open on the surfactant setting to show you just how effective our products are.

The Test

We’ve got some big windows at the front of the building to test on. Normally, we dilute our surfactant 16:1, but today we’re using a stronger mix for demonstration purposes. The goal is to show you the effectiveness of our surfactants, even in extreme conditions.

  1. Application: We apply the mixture to the windows, creating a soapy coating. One window is left unrinsed to demonstrate the difference.
  2. Dwell Time: After letting the mixture sit for a few minutes, we rinse it off with water. Normally, we’d use less soap, but for this test, we’ve gone heavy to make the effects visible.
  3. Rinsing: Using a 12-volt system, we rinse off the soap. Despite the heavy soap application, it rinses off cleanly, leaving no haze.

Results

Looking at the windows, it’s clear that our surfactants clean effectively without leaving any residue. The untreated window, however, shows significant haze and soap residue, highlighting the importance of a good surfactant.

Hydrophilic Properties

Our surfactants, like Southern Drawl and Southern Slang, are hydrophilic, meaning they rinse off easily and cleanly. This is crucial because homeowners see their windows from the inside out, and a bad surfactant can leave a noticeable haze.

Practical Applications

While pure water window cleaning has its place, our surfactants eliminate the need for it in most house wash scenarios. They clean glass effectively, making window cleaning a standard part of your house wash service. If you want to offer pure water cleaning as an extra, that's fine, but it’s not necessary with our products.

Conclusion

The difference is clear—literally. With Southeast Softwash's Citrus "Southern Drawl" and Cherry "Southern Slang" surfactants, you can achieve sparkling clean windows without the hassle. Whether you’re a professional cleaner or a homeowner looking for the best results, our surfactants will not disappoint.

Hope you guys have a great weekend. See you later!
