What’s up, guys? Coty from Southeast Softwash here. It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these videos, but we’ve been slammed with the spring rush. Today, I’m excited to show you our latest trailer build, completed and heading up to the Northeast Coast—New Jersey, to be exact. If you’re thinking about getting a custom-built softwash or pressure washing setup, this one’s packed with all the latest upgrades. Let’s take a walk around and check it out.
Lead Times & Build Accuracy
For those wondering about lead times, we estimate about 4-6 weeks, and this build came in at week seven, which means we’re pretty much right on target. If you're planning to order a setup, now’s the time to get in line.
Key Features of This Pressure Washing Trailer
This trailer is loaded with features to maximize efficiency and ease of use. Here’s a breakdown of what we installed:
1. Smart Stream for Downstreaming
The Smart Stream system is hooked up to his downstream injector, allowing for better control over chemical application. This is a great feature for guys who want an efficient way to apply detergents while pressure washing.
2. Smart Blend Pro – Remote Metering System
This build includes the updated version of the Smart Blend Pro, which allows remote control over:
✅ Soap proportioning
✅ Bleach proportioning
✅ Water adjustment (manually controlled but easily accessible)
With the remote, the operator can fine-tune their mix ratios without having to walk back and forth to the trailer, saving both time and effort.
3. Lithium Battery Upgrade
The customer opted for Epic lithium batteries—a premium option that’s:
✔️ Long-lasting (10-year guarantee)
✔️ Bluetooth-enabled for monitoring via mobile app
✔️ Equipped with a power shut-off button to kill power to the entire trailer
We also install Dakota lithiums sometimes, but these Epic batteries have become a popular upgrade due to their reliability and extra features.
4. Honda 8 GPM Hot Water Pressure Washer
This rig is equipped with an 8 GPM hot water system from Honda, one of the best setups for high-powered cleaning. Right now, it’s paired with a Northern Tool pump, but we have Super Pumps in stock and ready to ship, so he can upgrade later.
5. Super Bright 40” LED Light Bar
For nighttime work, we installed a 40-inch LED light bar on the working side of the trailer. It’s activated by a small, seamless switch and provides ample visibility for commercial jobs.
6. Hose Reel System & Pump Configurations
This build features:
🔹 Softwash system with placeholder pumps (easily swappable with the upcoming Super 8 pump)
🔹 3/4" internal manifold hose reels
🔹 Pressure washing system with two pressure washers and corresponding reels
🔹 Manual blend manifold for backup chemical mixing
🔹 12” reel for hot water use
We’ve also repositioned the feed reel to the curbside (working side) for easier access.
7. Dual Smart Stream Systems for Remote Downstreaming
This build includes two Smart Stream systems, allowing remote-controlled downstreaming for both pressure washers. This is an excellent feature for quick and efficient chemical application on different jobs.
Rear-End Setup & Storage
At the back of the trailer, we made a few upgrades:
✔️ Chopped-Down Tailgate: Makes accessing the equipment easier while still providing support. Some guys prefer a full tailgate for signage, but this setup is more practical for daily use.
✔️ Aluminum Boyd Gas Tank: Large-capacity fuel tank for extended runtime.
✔️ Southeast Softwash Surface Cleaner Racks: Holds a 24-inch and 20-inch surface cleaner, keeping them secure and out of the way.
