DIY Shelf Mount SoftWash Setup

DIY Shelf Mount SoftWash Setup

As spring rolls in and the softwash season kicks into high gear, we at Southeast Softwash are excited to introduce our latest game-changing innovation for DIY softwashers and professionals alike: the Polymer Shelf System.

This isn’t just another piece of gear—it’s the future of mounting systems for your softwash setup. Built tough, built smart, and built to last, this new shelf system is designed to make your rig setup quicker, easier, and more durable than ever before.

Let’s break it down.

A Turnkey Drop-In Solution

The Polymer Shelf System is a complete, drop-in softwash DIY kit that comes ready to be installed in your rig. Whether you’re mounting it to a flat surface like a lift table or attaching it vertically to a trailer wall, this system is designed for maximum flexibility and ease of installation.

At the heart of this setup is the polymer-welded mounting plate—the base structure that holds everything together. This plate is rugged, extremely chemical-resistant, and offers the same strength (if not more) than traditional aluminum—without the long-term corrosion issues that come with metal.

What’s Included?

Here’s what comes standard with the Polymer Shelf System:

  • High-Flow Blend Manifold with Batch Busters: Designed for precision chemical mixing and smooth, uninterrupted flow.

  • Super Pump Installed: This kit includes our industry-loved Super Pump, capable of up to 16 GPM. You can choose your unit with or without speed control.

  • Two-Pin Connector Port: Pre-cut and ready for installation—simply drop it through the hole, secure it with the included screws, and you’re good to go.

  • 10-Gauge Wiring with Switch: Hook up your battery, wire in your circuit breaker, and you’re off to the races.

It’s as plug-and-play as it gets. All you need to do is connect your soap, water, and SH lines on the back end, wire it to your battery system, and you’re ready to start softwashing.

Why Polymer Over Aluminum?

For years, aluminum has been the go-to material for skid plates and softwash bracketing. It’s lightweight, sturdy, and relatively corrosion-resistant—but not immune to damage from sodium hypochlorite (SH) drips and leaks, which are inevitable in our industry.

That’s where polymer steps in as the superior choice. Not only is it incredibly tough and robust, but it’s also 100% chemical-proof. That means no more corrosion, no more rust, and no more degradation over time. It’s a long-term investment in durability and performance.

We’ve even built a version with dual pumping systems to show how scalable and modular this material can be. Whether you’re building a simple one-man rig or a complex commercial setup, polymer has the versatility to handle it all.

Coming Soon: More Polymer Innovations

We’re just scratching the surface with this new polymer lineup.

Our team is working on a whole series of polymer-based mounting and bracketing solutions, including a pressure washer skid plate designed for GX390 and Predator-size motors. Like the shelf system, it’ll come with durable rubber feet and a bomb-proof polymer frame that laughs in the face of wear and tear.

Our first unit already sold over the weekend, and more are on the way. These systems are built to outlast aluminum and take your rig to the next level.
