Easiest Ways To Get More Customers (Pressure Washing Business)

...

What is up everybody, my name is Justin and this is Forever Self-Employed!

In today's video, we're diving into the easiest ways to get more customers for your pressure washing business. We’ll also take a look at a job we recently completed and how we landed it by leveraging another job in the same neighborhood.

While working on a house, the owner of another house in the neighborhood saw us, asked for a quote, and we ended up securing the job. This experience got me thinking about leveraging every job to generate more work. If you're not already using these strategies, it’s time to start! Here’s a rundown of the easiest ways to get more customers:

1. Get Reviews and Before/After Pictures

One of the most powerful ways to attract new customers is through reviews and before/after pictures. Make sure to capture high-quality images and ask your customers to leave reviews on the platform where they found you, whether it’s Google My Business, Facebook, or Nextdoor. Combining reviews with compelling before/after photos makes your testimonials even more persuasive.

2. Leverage Neighborhood Facebook Pages

After completing a job, ask your client to post a picture of your flyer or a testimonial in their neighborhood’s Facebook page. This tactic can dramatically increase your visibility and credibility. For example, after posting in one neighborhood’s Facebook page, we landed five more jobs!

3. Use the 5 Up, 5 Down Strategy

After finishing a job, hit five houses up the street and five houses down with flyers. If you have the time, canvas the entire neighborhood. If you're comfortable, door-knocking can be even more effective. One of our inner circle members did $7,000 in quotes just by door-knocking in his first week.

4. Be Friendly and Approachable

While working, always smile and wave at everyone passing by. Being friendly and approachable can lead to spontaneous inquiries about your services. A simple wave and a smile can turn into another job quote.

5. Utilize Yard Signs

Place yard signs at the house you just serviced, or at the entrance and exit of the neighborhood. Ask your customer if you can leave a sign in their yard for a week. Yard signs can be a simple yet effective way to attract new clients.

6. Maintain Relationships with Customers

Keep track of every customer you service and follow up with them annually. Make them recurring clients by offering regular maintenance services. Using a CRM tool can help you manage customer information, send invoices, and collect payments efficiently. Check out the CRM trial linked in the comment section for a reliable solution.

  • Get reviews and before/after pictures
  • Ask to be posted in neighborhood Facebook pages
  • Use the 5 up, 5 down flyer strategy
  • Be friendly and approachable to neighbors

  • Maintain relationships with customers using a CRM

By mastering these techniques, you can scale your pressure washing business quickly and effectively.
