Master the Art of Batch Mixing for Pressure Washing: Essential Tips & Tricks

...

Hey everyone, welcome back to the channel! I'm Aaron Parker, and in today’s video, we’re diving into batch mixing ratios for your pressure washing or soft washing business. If you're just starting out and want to learn how to batch mix chemicals effectively, you’re in the right place.

First, stay tuned until the end of this video for a special free surprise that will help you with batch mixing.

Now, let’s get into batch mixing. The best way to explain this is with a simple illustration. Imagine a 10-gallon jug—half filled with industrial-grade bleach at 12% concentration and the other half with water. This mix gives you a 6% solution, perfect for roof cleaning. For a 3% mix, divide your bleach by four and fill the remaining with water. This is ideal for cleaning mossy bricks or concrete.

Finding the right bleach can be tricky. Look for industrial-grade sodium hypochlorite at 12% from chemical suppliers, pool supply stores, or even some Ace Hardwares.

For an easy and precise calculation, head over to Southeast Softwash’s website and use our batch mix calculator. Simply enter the desired mix ratio, and it will provide you with the exact amounts of bleach, water, and surfactant needed.

Remember, for vinyl cleaning, a 1% mix is usually sufficient, achievable with a downstream injector. For hotter mixes, consider using a skunk valve for a higher concentration.

We hope this guide clarifies the batch mixing process for you. For detailed instructions and more tips, don’t forget to check out our batch mix calculator and other resources on Southeast Softwash’s website.
