Tackling Red Clay Stains with Mud May-day
Now, let’s get to the main event. Red clay stains can be a nightmare, especially here in Alabama and Georgia. That’s why we use our specialized product, Mud Mayday. It’s designed to effectively remove these stubborn stains.
The Process
Step 1: Inspection and Demo
We started by inspecting the stained area near the door. After spraying a small section with Mud May-day, we realized it would make a great demo. The untreated areas remained stained even after pressure washing, proving that Mud Mayday is essential for this job.
Step 2: Application
Using our five-gallon-a-minute machine, we applied Mud May-day full strength due to the severity of the stains. Normally, you can dilute it 50/50, but today we went all in.
Step 3: Dwell Time
We let the product sit for about 10-15 minutes. This dwell time is crucial for the chemical to break down the stains.
Step 4: Pressure Washing
After allowing Mud May-day to work its magic, we pressure washed the area. Check out the before and after shots—it’s amazing! For a more uniform clean, we usually use a surface cleaner, but for the video, we used a wand to highlight the product’s effectiveness.
