Driveway Cleaning Walkthrough | Pressure Washing [Drone]
What's up guys! Welcome back to the Lean and Mean Academy. I'm Aaron, where we talk about one truck, big profits. Today, we're cleaning my neighbor's driveway. If you've watched some of my other videos, you'll know my neighbors keep calling me for help. This time, it's a different neighbor – check out Mad Max right across the street!
In this post, we'll dive into driveway cleaning, including pre-treating, post-treating, and the best practices for pressure washing. Let's roll that beautiful bean footage, baby!
Driveway Cleaning: Step-by-Step Guide
-
Pre-Treatment:
- Why Pre-Treat? Pre-treating helps to break down dirt, grime, and organic growth, making the cleaning process more effective. I’ve already pre-treated this driveway, and though it's drying up now, the treatment has killed off the unwanted growth.
-
Pressure Settings:
- Medium Idle: I prefer to keep my machine at medium idle. This setting prevents etching, especially on new concrete, which can be very sensitive. Adjusting the idle also ensures that the surface cleaner operates at an optimal level without damaging the surface.
-
Surface Cleaner Tips:
- Proper Tips: Ensure you have the right tips on your surface cleaner to avoid any damage. New concrete, in particular, requires careful handling to prevent etching.

Drone Footage Insight:
- Bird's Eye View: As we fly above the project, you can see my hoses pulled all the way to the back. We'll start by the garage, next to the bush, and work our way down with the grade towards the road and truck. Ensuring proper drainage is crucial for optimal cleaning.
Let's jump into the cleaning process:
