This can be particularly frustrating when standard cleaning solutions like sodium hypochlorite (SH) or high-pressure washing just won't cut it. Well, I've got some exciting news for you. Southeast Softwash has just released a new chemical called Ox-Knox, and let me tell you, this stuff is a game changer. Today, we're going to use it to tackle a heavily oxidized door, complete with plenty of falloutâthose stubborn grime deposits that regular cleaners can't touch.

Now, let's get to work. I've got my trusty cigar in hand (you know the drill), and we're ready to apply Ox-Knox directly to this wall. Now, I can't give you the exact dilution ratiosâyouâll need to test it yourself to ensure the substrate is safe, especially with different paints. We've used Ox-Knox on colored vinyl and unpainted surfaces with great results, and today, we're going straight to the source on this door.
One thing to note: Ox-Knox isnât designed to remove bat guano. If thatâs your problem, this might not be the solution youâre looking for. Remember, oxidation is our target, not doo-doo.
After applying Ox-Knox, we let it dwell for about five to ten minutes, depending on the severity of the oxidation and fallout. I'm a bit impatient, so I often cut it short, but for best results, you should let it sit for the full duration.
Once itâs had time to work its magic, it's time to rinse. As you can see from the results, the difference is night and day. This door, which was once grimy and neglected, now looks significantly betterânot brand new, but a vast improvement without any need for scrubbing. We simply applied the product, let it dwell, and rinsed it off with a ball valve.
